Welcome to our dog-loving haven in Switzerland, where the lives of our three Brazilian canine companions have been revitalized through the magic of natural food.

Once, we unwittingly fed them industrial kibble, but when health issues arose, we knew we had to act. With dedication, and guidance from professional veterinary nutritionists, we switched to a homemade, customized diet for each, focusing on their unique needs.

One dog is overcoming a single-kidney challenge and a recent cancer surgery, while another is battling hormonal issues. Today, their lives are a testament to the transformational power of natural food, as they enjoy a higher quality of life.

— Our Story

Fiona...

Rescued from the streets of Brazil, Fiona's journey has been nothing short of miraculous. When she first came into our lives, she was in a dire state, battling demodectic mangeand a severe gastrointestinal infection. Although her age was uncertain, one thing was clear: Fiona was a fighter.

In the following years, Fiona faced numerous challenges. A move to a new region brought with it changes in environment and routine. In 2017, she ruptured the ligament in her right knee, necessitating surgery and a weight loss plan to ease the strain on her joints. Despite our efforts, her weight remained stubbornly high at 20kg.

An ultrasound revealed another twist in Fiona's health saga – we discovered she had only one kidney. This discovery raised concerns about her overall well-being, prompting a shift in her diet. We transitioned from dry industrial dog food to a high-quality super-premium brand, but Fiona's weight only dropped by 2kg, and her appetite was unstable.

Our journey continued when we relocated to Switzerland. In Zurich, Fiona faced a new set of challenges, including protein loss through her urine and an alarming lack of appetite. It was when I decided to take matters into my own hands and prepare homemade meals for her. While my initial attempt caused some digestive issues, because the transition from industrial to REAL food was not well managed, it was a turning point that led us to seek professional guidance.

In the midst of these health struggles, we discovered a tumor in Fiona's spleen. This brave canine, at the age of 13 underwent surgery to remove her spleen and was diagnosed with early-stage hemangiosarcoma. The prognosis was grim, with a life expectancy of just six more months. But Fiona is no ordinary dog. With determination and the guidance of a veterinary nutritionist, we crafted a personalized diet that not only helped her reach her ideal weight of 14kg but also restored her vitality. Her blood tests stabilized, and, most remarkably, there was no progression of the hemangiosarcoma.

Today, Fiona's zest for life is infectious. She exhibits the energy of a puppy and eagerly anticipates mealtime, even demanding her food with enthusiastic barks if we're late. Despite the uncertainties that lie ahead, Fiona's incredible transformation stands as a testament to the power of a customized diet and unwavering care.

Buffy...

Born in March 2010, Buffy's story began when she was rescued alongside her mother and sister. I had always wanted a furry companion to join our family, and when I saw that picture of that yellow mutt with a black snout, it was love at first sight.Buffy has always been a sweet, gentle, and incredibly intelligent pup. She grew up traveling with us everywhere we went.

However, she had always struggled with excess weight. When we started Fiona's diet, we decided it was time to address Buffy's weight as well, with a super-premium industrial diet. Unfortunately, we only managed to shed 3kg, and we needed to bring her from 22kg down to 16kg. We got her to 19kg, but it was clear that more had to be done.

Around that time, Buffy was diagnosed with Hyperadrenocorticism, or more specifically Pituitary-dependent Cushing’s disease (PDCD). This condition revs up her metabolism due to excessive cortisol production. Together with her sister Fiona, we embarked on a journey of natural home-cooked meals, paying meticulous attention to her hormonal imbalance.

Today, we've achieved her ideal weight, her nutritional levels are back to normal, and she's in the best shape to enjoy her retirement here in the Swiss Alps. Thanks to the power of a natural diet, Buffy is living her best life, full of energy and vitality in this picturesque paradise

Cindy...

Cindy joined our family in 2016 when we already had Buffy and Fiona. She arrived brimming with energy, just like any puppy would. We later discovered that this boundless energy was actually hyperactivity. But she's a spirited little dog, incredibly intelligent, and blessed with good health, with a particular penchant for running. She also started on a natural diet alongside her sisters

Let's just say that Cindy is reaping the benefits of getting to know real food relatively early and having an exclusive diet tailored to her life stage, enabling her to live a life as vibrant as she is.

She's in a significant advantage by enjoying a natural diet from an early age. Unlike her sisters, Cindy's diet is for preventive health measures, not for treating existing issues. We firmly believe that all beings, both animals and humans, should adopt this approach, using food as their primary source for a healthy and long life.
